Shirazi cafe went above and beyond for me. I was such at the last minute thinking of what to get for my little office party of 8 people. I decided to call them because I ordered from here before and they're right by my house. Who doesn't like kebabs? So I called and a nice lady answered and said she even delivered alllll the way to JFK airport where I work. She made some great recommendations and let me put in the order the day before. The day of the party a nice gentleman called and confirmed the order and delivery which was really nice bc usually you have to be the one to call everyone. The food came so nicely packaged. With the meats seperated as requested due to the different cultures we have at our company. They gave us extra plates and napkins as a bonus. The food was amazing. We ordered 2 different combos with rice and salad included. The positions are great and it was definitely worth every penny.
Im truly impressed with the level of customer service they have here and the quality of food here!
and I will definitely keep them in mind when food is involved. -

I was super excited to check this spot out with my parents for their marriage anniversary since it's new, halal & they love afghani food.
This place looked great once we walked in from the decor to the up keeping of the place. The even had a giant projector playing tv.
I ordered the salmon kebab entree because I love the flavor of Afghani grilled salmon & added the lamb chops as an additional because they looked too good not to try. The food took about 30 minutes to come but when it did, it smelled & looked great but the rice was a bit cold & undercooked leaving it to be hard & dry. My dads food took even longer to come so we ended up canceling it. That's was pretty upsetting since we were celebrating. The salmon kebabs weren't seasoned enough & tasted bland along with the rice. The only thing I liked was their lamb chops which were well seasoned & made to perfection. Love dressing the food with white & green sauce to add extra flavor. I guess it's a hit or miss with this place. My parents weren't fond of the service or food so it was a disappointment on my end since I heard great things about this place. -

Love this place, way better compared to the other kebab places around. Decently priced and huge portions for what you pay for. Must go to when craving afghani foodz

Food was amazing, service mediocre at best. We were the only ones in the restaurant, then after we ordered 2 other people walked in to be seated. Hostess was not in the dining area for the majority of our meal. Once we finally got her attention, we asked for the pita bread that was supposed to come with our entree but she told us they had no more pita bread. I guess whatever was happening in the back kept her really busy! Thank god the food was really good, but the experience was whatever. Next time I'll do take out only!
